“When I put on my uniform I have to live up to a certain ideal and that is not always what I am. The uniform helps me to create a separation between myself and the service. That's what the uniform is for. It helps you to be remembered and recognised for what you have to be. When I'm wearing my uniform, people don't know what's really inside of the uniform. They can't guess what's inside of me or what's burning inside of me."

In uniform, I combine an interview I did with a soldier of the Bundeswehr with a choreography about obedience and disobedience.
