Is staging food similar to staging human bodies? Why and why now? Who decides who and what is staged as "porn"? What is "sexy" or "tasty"? Who owns which potato and who prepares it? As part of the research Foodporn I met the photographer Alena Schmick. Through conversations, Alena Schmick and I developed the visual concept for our series of images, which focusses on the potato. These pictures are an excerpt from the series.
