DIPPEL. DIAGNOSE CIN III
gyn health for lizards
The lizard Rea is back. Her bleeding lizard tail in her hand, she leads us into the worlds of vulvodynia, endometriosis and cervical cancer. The surreal journey of Rea and her companions invites us to look at gynaecological syndromes and to encounter them with empathy.
DIPPEL. DIAGNOSE CIN III examines the history of people with uterus in medicine, how myths and sexisms still affect the quality of treatments today, how transgenerational and collective traumas could possibly be connected to today's illnesses. Or in other words: why does a speculum examination feel like shit?
This evening is aimed at those affected (you are not alone!) as well as everyone else.
